Sarajevo honours singer Dickinson

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson has been named an honorary citizen of Sarajevo for his support of the city during the Bosnian War. The band visited the city while the conflict was raging in 1994, and now local officials have honoured him, saying he contributed to the development of solidarity, democracy and human rights in Sarajevo. He returned there in 2016 to shoot the documentary Scream for Me Sarajevo.
