Th­ese flavour­ful sun­flower seed sausages are fat burn­ing, a per­fect ve­gan op­tion and are de­li­cious hot or cold! Prep: 10 min­utes Cook: 15 min­utes Yields: 4 Serv­ings 3-4 tsp av­o­cado oil

1⁄2 small to medium yel­low onion chopped

1 gar­lic clove minced

1 1⁄2 cups raw sun­flower seeds or: ( for ve­gan: one cup raw sun­flower seed plus half cup cooked black beans)

1⁄4 sun-dried toma­toes chopped 2 ta­ble­spoons co­conut amino’s Drops of Ste­via *op­tional 1 tea­spoon liq­uid smoke 1 tea­spoon dried sage

1 tea­spoon fen­nel seeds

1⁄2 tea­spoon cumin

1⁄2 tea­spoon pa­prika

Salt and pep­per to taste 1. Mix to­gether in food pro­ces­sor or blender on slow un­til like a sausage con­sis­tency is ob­tained. Form into pat­ties.

2. Sauté them in co­conut oil. 3. Serve in col­lard greens with onions and bell pep­per.
