Nov. 17: Prince of Faith Lutheran Church, 2523 56th St. N.E., holds its annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check out local hand-crafted items, sewing, crochet, knitting and homemade butter tarts, shortbread and cookies. Nov. 17: Northminster United Church will hold its annual Christmas Craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3311 Centre St. N. Quality handmade crafts, blown glass, knitting, sewing, kitchen crafts, baking and cookies by the dozen. Free admission.
Nov. 24: Christmas Bazaar at St. Giles Presbyterian Church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1102 23rd Ave. N.W. Free admission. Savoury and sweet pies, cookies by the dozen, bake table, gift baskets, crafts and more. Luncheon $9 including hearty soup, bun, dessert, tea or coffee.
Nov. 24: Foothills United Church, 3803 69th St. N.W. is holding its 29th annual craft fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We have two floors of quality crafts. Find some unique shopping ideas. Jewelry, wood crafts such as scroll work, knitted and crocheted items, Christmas decorations and wreaths, cards and so much more. All hand made. No commercial vendors. A concession will also be available from our kitchen. Admission is free.
Nov. 25: CORE Celebration Concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1311 4th St. S.W. Two very well known male soloists will be featured, Jason Catron and Kevin Pauls.
Nov. 30: The Master’s Singers, A Christmas Concert at Bethany Chapel, 3333 Richardson Way S.W. at 7 p.m. A 60-voice inter-denominational male chorus representing 11 denominations and 34 churches. Free admission; donations appreciated.
