Cullen fined $1,000 for ‘dangerous’ trip

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Matt Cullen has been fined US$1,000 by the NHL for a dangerous trip of Tampa Bay Lightning forward J.T. Miller. The infraction came during the first period of Thursday night’s game, a 4-3 victory for the Bolts. Cullen was assessed a minor penalty for tripping on the play.
