Cardi B scores best album

Cardi B’s debut album Invasion of Privacy has been named the best release of 2018 in Time Magazine’s end-of-year countdown. The rapper has scored hit after hit with tracks like Bodak Yellow, I Like It and Ring from her first studio project, which shot to the top of the Billboard 200 upon its launch in April. “THANK YOU TIME MAGAZINE,” Cardi B wrote on Instagram. Invasion of Privacy beat out Janelle Monáe’s Dirty Computer at No. 2 and Mitski’s Be the Cowboy at No. 3. Shawn Mendes’s self-titled release and J Balvin’s Vibras place fourth and fifth on the list, respectively.
