Stars return for series reboot

Cult TV drama Northern Exposure is heading back to the small screen with its original leading man. Rob Morrow teamed up with original series co-creators Joshua Brand and John Falsey, as well as actor John Corbett, to revamp the 1990s series for a new audience, and the show’s star will return as Dr. Joel Fleischman. In the pilot, Morrow’s character will head back to Cicely, Alaska, where the series was set, for the funeral of a friend, according to Deadline. The original series ran from 1990 to 1995, winning three Emmys.
