American founders created fair system

The electoral college outcome was not a fluke. The U.S. founding fathers saw the tyranny in a system that only elects a president by population or popular vote. New York and California would set the agenda for the country. As the two most populated states in the union they would ride roughshod over less populated states. It’s a balance so the vote in Alaska or Wyoming carries the same weight as the vote in New York or California.
