Danzig planning Elvis covers

Punk and heavy metal musician Glenn Danzig is planning to release an album of Elvis Presley covers in 2019. The former Misfits star has been working on the project for years, and during a recent appearance on radio show Full Metal Jackie, he revealed Danzig Sings Elvis should be out next year. “I’m still looking to put it out in 2019, and maybe do a few intimate shows here and there for it,” he said, “but I don’t know ... It depends on my schedule and if I can get it together and get the cover and everything together and pick the songs. Danzig has previously covered and released versions of Presley’s Trouble and Let Yourself Go, which are both expected to be featured on his new tribute album.
