Moran new coach with AJHL Canucks
The AJHL’s Calgary Canucks are bringing in a familiar hockey name to take the reins of head coach. Effective immediately, Brad Moran is replacing Darryl Olsen. Moran needs no introduction to fans in Calgary, where his No. 20 was retired after a sensational five-year career with the WHL’s Hitmen that included a league scoring title. Moran went on to a successful professional hockey career including brief NHL stints with Columbus and Vancouver before retiring in 2017. He brings to his position a love of the game, an ability to motivate others with both words and action and a keen knowledge of hockey gained while playing at a high level during his career.
