Woes continue for Locklear
Heather Locklear’s psychiatric hold has reportedly been extended by two weeks as doctors continue to evaluate her wellbeing. The actress was hospitalized on Nov. 18 amid reports of a mental breakdown, and she was placed on a 72-day mandatory psychiatric hold. According to TMZ.com, the hold has now been extended by two weeks as doctors determined that she needed additional treatment and further evaluations. Sources told the website it is unlikely she will be released before the two weeks are up and the plan is for her to enter a facility for more longterm treatment, although Locklear reportedly wants to remain at home.
