Man arrested after Amazon centre receives threatening call

RCMP in Airdrie say they are investigating after a man left a voice mail for a Balzac business that contained threats against employees.

Mounties say they responded to a 911 call reporting the voice mail at the Amazon fulfilment centre just before 8 a.m. Monday.

Officers surrounded the building and asked employees to stay inside.

RCMP took a male suspect into custody. Police say there is no further risk to staff.
