Please remove the knife in our backs
Re: Our government has always had your back, Opinion, Dec. 4
I read with great interest the letter from federal natural resources minister Amarjeet Sohi to all Albertans.
(His) concern over the dire economic situation in which we find ourselves is incredibly comforting.
I note (his) government’s cancellation of the Northern Gateway approval; changing the regulations halfway through the approval process of Energy East; failure to properly consult stakeholders with respect to Trans Mountain; Bill C-48 which directly impacts our ability to transport our fuel to market by placing a moratorium on tankers; the carbon tax and Bill C-69, which imposes yet another level to all the bureaucracy required for pipeline approval.
Imagine my relief when (he) assured all Albertans that the Liberals have our back.
Now, will (they) kindly remove the knife that (they) embedded in it?
