Lovato tops Google searches
Demi Lovato was the person Americans searched for most on Google in 2018. The singer, 26, was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles in July after relapsing and suffering a suspected opioid overdose. Searches of her name spiked that month, according to data released by Google on Wednesday. Interest in her remained high in August as she entered rehab to begin her recovery. She has since entered into a relationship with fashion designer Henry Levy, who is reportedly helping her to maintain her sobriety. Residents of her home state, New Mexico, were most likely to look her up on Google. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was second in the year she married U.K. royal Prince Harry. Third was U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh — whose nomination to America’s highest court was almost derailed by sexual assault allegations.
