Alberta could learn from nature

-

A few people may recognize the “buffalo bird” as the “cow bird,” now that the buffalo have vanished from the prairie. So what is special about this bird? Well, it’s the only parasitic bird in Canada as it lays its eggs in another bird’s nest. Once these eggs hatch, the parents find themselves feeding a ravenous, gluttonous offspring which often ejects the other chicks from the nest. Some birds learn from experience to toss the eggs whereas others build a new nest on top.

In Canada, we have a province that behaves just like the buffalo bird and it’s called Quebec. Alberta has not clued in yet and continues to feed this glutinous province with equalization payments.
