New refinery would be win-win

Re: Alberta looking to build new refinery, Dec. 11

Finally the penny drops. Alberta can produce a less toxic substance that’s easier to clean up and creates jobs. Many people opposed to the transport of diluted bitumen have been suggesting this for years. Fortunately, those in power have finally listened.

Hopefully, much of the product produced can be used in Canada, reducing the money we are sending to countries like Saudi Arabia. This would be a win-win for Canada.
