JEWISH CEMETERY OUTSIDE STRASBOURG VANDALIZED
French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner, centre, attends a ceremony at the Jewish cemetery of Herrlisheim, near Strasbourg, eastern France, with Rabbi Harold Weill, right, on Friday. Thirty-seven gravestones and a monument for Holocaust victims at the site were tagged with anti-Semitic graffiti. The graffiti was discovered on Tuesday, just hours before a gunman sprayed gunfire near Strasbourg’s Christmas market.
