Shazam! First guest named for 2019 Comic & Entertainment Expo

Actor Zachary Levi, who will play the title character in the upcoming Shazam! movie, is coming to Calgary this April for the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo.

Levi is the first guest named for next year’s Calgary Expo, which will run April 25 to 28 at Stampede Park.

Playing Shazam isn’t Levi’s only superhero bona fides. He also played Fandral in Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok.

Levi also has the lead in the NBC action-comedy series Chuck, recently starred in Amazon’s period comedy-drama The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and was the voice of Flynn Ryder in the animated blockbuster Tangled.

Shazam! will be in theatres in early April.
