The Ivy opens two new show homes
The popular and award-winning University District is about to get even more popular with the opening today of two new show homes from Brookfield Residential.
The three-storey Olivine and Reseda townhome models will be available for touring in the company’s Ivy project in one of northwest Calgary’s newest multi-family developments.
The three-year-old, 200-acre University District won Alberta’s 2018 new community development award from BILD (Building Industry Land Development) Alberta.
Both of the new Brookfield showhome models feature open-concept living spaces with high-end finishings, designed for entertaining.
Olivine has been the most popular buyer choice in the Ivy, offering two large kitchen layout options. The 1,591-square-foot, two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home, starting in the mid-$500,000s, also features a double attached garage.
The 1,715-square-foot Reseda has the option of two or three bedrooms (the two-bedroom model includes an ensuite with each) with 2.5 baths and also comes with an attached double garage. It starts in the mid-$600,000s.
Justin Castelino, Brookfield Residential’s marketing manager, says each home has a private front entrance and high-end finishes and the Ivy’s proximity to nearby key amenities provides a relaxing lifestyle for buyers.
University District, situated near the University of Calgary and the Alberta Children’s Hospital, recently broke ground on its Central Park, to include public amenities, including a winter ice-skating rink, a concert staging area, multiple retailers, and a patio space.
The walkable community is connected by dog parks, ponds and walking paths.
Planned University District retailers include Save-on-foods, Analog Coffee, Freshii, Scotiabank, OEB Breakfast Co., Orangetheory, Cineplex VIP Cinemas, and Market Wines.
The new Olivine and Reseda show homes will be open Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at 4410 University Ave. N.W.
