Netflix, UN honour women

Netflix and UN Women are celebrating International Women’s Day with the Because She Watched catalogue of programs, Variety has reported. “This collaboration is about taking on the challenge of telling women’s stories and showing women in all their diversity,” UN Women deputy executive director Anita Bhatia said. Orange Is the New Black, Bird Box and Miss Americana are part of the 30 titles available. The collection will remain available all year. International Women’s Day is celebrated March 8.
