‘BABY BRONCO’ SPECS LEAKED
Thanks to a batch of surreptitiously taken photos that have made their way online, we have a better picture of what the upcoming Ford Bronco Sport (or “Baby Bronco”) will pack behind its lantern-jawed front fascia. According to the photos, there will be an option of two engines at launch: a 1.5-litre Ecoboost or a 2.0-L Ecoboost, both with auto start/stop systems and backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. If those specs seem familiar, keep in mind the Bronco Sport will share much of its powertrain with the 2020 Escape. As for trims, there are five listed in the pictures, showing up with names such as “Badlands” and “Outer Banks.”
