Mars pledges $1 million

Singer Bruno Mars has become the latest star to pledge US$1 million to coronavirus relief. Mars announced his donation Thursday, revealing he would be giving the cash to the MGM Resorts Foundation, which supports the Employee Emergency Grant Fund and Children’s Medical Support Fund.
