Police search for suspect, witness after fatal shooting
Calgary police are seeking information about a woman they believe has knowledge about the fatal shooting of a man in Pineridge early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the 5700 block of 18 Avenue N.E., at about 1 a.m., after receiving several calls from neighbours who had heard gunshots. When police arrived, they found a male in distress.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene of the shooting.
After searching the area, police were unable to find a suspect. They do not believe the incident is gang-related.
Investigators allege the incident occurred at a nearby residence. They have spoken with several potential witnesses at the scene but are seeking the public’s help in finding Cody Edith Bradburn, who they believe has knowledge in relation to the investigation.
Police describe Bradburn as a 33-year-old woman, 5’5” tall, with a slim build.
