Placido Domingo is fight­ing coronaviru­s in a hos­pi­tal, two weeks af­ter dis­play­ing symp­toms. The 79-year-old an­nounced on Facebook last Sun­day he had coronaviru­s and was in self-iso­la­tion in Aca­pulco. On Satur­day, a Mex­i­can pa­per re­vealed he was be­ing treated at a hos­pi­tal in Aca­pulco, and a spokesper­son told Bri­tain’s Daily Mir­ror news­pa­per Domingo was “sta­ble.” Mean­while folksinger John Prine is in crit­i­cal con­di­tion af­ter de­vel­op­ing symp­toms. And coun­try singer Joe Diffie has died, just two days af­ter go­ing pub­lic with his di­ag­no­sis. He was 61.
