The great escape

A former U.S. Green Beret, Michael Taylor, 59, and his son, Peter Taylor, 27, have been arrested on suspicion of helping ex-nissan boss Carlos Ghosn escape prosecution in Japan. Ghosn was awaiting trial for allegedly taking secret payments from Nissan and misappropriating company resources. Ghosn has denied the charges and is now in his native Lebanon. It is alleged that Ghosn, the senior Taylor and George-antoine Zayek had stored audio-equipment boxes at a hotel near the Kansai airport and that Ghosn hid in one as the senior Taylor and Zayek removed the boxes.
