Krasinski’s show moves to TV

-

John Krasinski’s lockdown web series Some Good News is moving to Viacomcbs after the company won a bidding war. Krasinski created the program to provide relief during the coronavirus pandemic, and it has enjoyed success. But days after announcing Some Good News was “taking a break,” news broke that Viacomcbs will be licensing it. Krasinski will no longer be the host but will still have an on-air presence. The first new episodes will stream on CBS All Access this summer, before other Viacomcbs networks get the second run of instalments.
