Trudeau, Singh scorn Parliament
Re: Liberals secure support to pause; Tory objections; Parliament to resume in September, May 27
Prime Minister Trudeau and NDP Leader Singh have torn off their COVID-19 masks and revealed themselves to socialist brothers in arms who do not care a whit for Parliamentary democracy, accountability for the reckless spending of hundreds of billions of newly printed money or the Constitution.
While the private sector gets back to work trying to save the economy, the socialists run for cover, laser-focused on trying to buy votes no matter what. There is no science suggesting another four months of Parliamentary shutdown is necessary. This purely a political calculation and is reprehensible. Rick Gilborn, Calgary
