WOOD-FIBRE MASKS

-

The Bioproducts Institute at the University of British Columbia says fibres from pine, spruce, cedar and other local softwoods could be developed into filtering materials that can be used in an N95 device. The “Can-mask” prototypes are now being tested. The product could solve supply issues, would be biodegradable and would support the province’s wood-products sector.
