Hedgehog lands a movie sequel

-

Sonic the Hedgehog will return for a sequel, after this year’s original film became the biggest U.S. video game movie opening of all time. Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy confirmed this week they’ve started work on a followup film, which will bring back Jeff Fowler as director alongside Pat Casey and Josh Miller as scriptwriters. The first film stars James Marsden and Jim Carrey and features the voice of Ben Schwartz as the world’s speediest hedgehog, but decisions about casting for the next film aren’t yet final.
