A Cin­derella Story ac­tress dies at 70

Vet­eran ac­tress Mary Pat Glea­son has died at age 70. The star of A Cin­derella Story lost her bat­tle with can­cer on Tues­day. Glea­son also ap­peared on hit TV com­edy Mom un­til her character, Mary, suf­fered a brain aneurysm dur­ing an Al­co­holics Anony­mous meet­ing and died. She also ap­peared in TV’S Guid­ing Light, Will & Grace, How to Get Away With Mur­der, the movies In­tol­er­a­ble Cru­elty, The Cru­cible and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, and a host of TV films. She’s best known as Hi­lary Duff’s wait­ress co-star in 2004’s A Cin­derella Story.
