Gallagher to sell his MTV award

Liam Gallagher is auctioning off an MTV Europe Music Award to raise money for hunger relief efforts amid the coronavirus pandemic. The singer won the prize in 1996, when Wonderwall was named best song at the annual ceremony. Sharing a photo of the trophy Thursday on Instagram, Gallagher wrote, “Oasis MTV award for Wonderwall award up for auction in support of @eatwellmcr.” Eat Well MCR is a British non-profit that helps feed city residents in need during the global health crisis. The auction ends June 10.
