As we all go through this daily uncertainty, I know that we all have hopes and wishes for the future. Talking with my friends, we’ve hoped to plan our own camping trip and walk across our porches together, with makeshift caps and gowns.
We are more than just the graduating class of the pandemic — we made petitions and fought to be something else. I hope that together we can all remember (students, family and more) that we were able to find and do more during our isolation. My hope is that one day these celebrations will be more than just a moment passing and we stop taking such normal things for granted. Anything can change in a blink of an eye and we should always be appreciative of what we have, even if high school felt like a chore more than anything else. Happy graduation to all 2020 seniors!
