Cineplex reopening 3 city theatres

Cineplex will reopen three of its Calgary theatres on Friday. The Cineplex Odeon Crowfoot Crossing Cinemas, Cineplex Odeon Sunridge Spectrum Cinemas and the Cineplex Cinemas Seton will be among six theatres in Alberta the chain will reopen, Cineplex said in a news release Wednesday. The theatres will reopen with enhanced safety and cleaning measures, including physical distancing inside and outside auditoriums, reserved seating, no cash payments, and employees with personal protective equipment. Cineplex will offer $5 tickets and will screen recent releases including Bloodshot, The Invisible Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Jumani: The Next Level, Bad Boys for Life, Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, The Way Back and I Still Believe. Cineplex is also reopening three theatres in Edmonton on Friday.
