Gibson denies anti-semitism
Mel Gibson is denying Winona Ryder’s claims that he made anti-semitic remarks to her. “This is 100 per cent untrue,” his rep told Variety. Ryder accused Gibson of making offensive comments in a recent interview with the Sunday Times. She previously told GQ in
2010 that once at a party, Gibson asked her friend, who is gay, “Oh wait, am I gonna get AIDS?” Amid the accusations, Netflix has dropped Gibson from its upcoming Chicken
Run sequel. Gibson made headlines in 2006 when he was arrested for a DUI and made sexist and anti-semitic remarks to police.
