Prine’s last song hits No. 1

John Prine’s final recorded song, I Remember Everything, has become the folk singer-songwriter’s first Billboard No. 1. The track debuted at the top of the Rock Digital Song Sales chart a week after its release. Prine lost his battle with the coronavirus in April. Prine recorded the tune at his home studio last year, while filming a documentary. His widow says more new material will be released soon.
