Respect self, others and wear a mask

The arrival of COVID-19 marked the beginning of an increasingly difficult time for all Albertans.
Being apart from relatives and friends put a strain on our ability to relax and enjoy life. It also marked an acute awareness that the manner in which we interact with people has a profound effect on our well-being. This awareness brought with it the responsibility to protect each other. Some people realized this responsibility.
But there is a large group that has decided to leave the responsibility to others.
This group cites their fearlessness towards the virus.
This selfish bravado is contrary to what medical experts stress. Wear a mask in crowds and be aware of social distancing to have respect for yourself and others. Robert Mooney, Calgary
