HALL OF FAME DELAYS INDUCTION
The induction of the Hockey Hall of Fame's Class of 2020 will take place in 2021. Former NHL forwards Marian Hossa and Jarome Iginla and defencemen Kevin Lowe and Doug Wilson, women's star goaltender Kim St-pierre and general manager Ken Holland will be inducted in Toronto during the weekend of Nov. 12-15, 2021. There will be no Class of 2021. “The magic of the induction weekend from the perspective of the new inductees is participating in several days of close interaction with family, friends, former teammates, fellow legends and fans,” Hall of Fame board chairman Lanny Mcdonald, pictured, said in a news release Friday. “On that premise, the board felt that this was the right decision to bestow upon the Class of 2020 the recognition and lifetime experience they so richly deserve in all ways consistent with past induction classes.”
