Avalanches likely on B.C.'S backcountry slopes

Avalanche Canada is urging caution on backcountry mountains because of weak snowpack layers. Sunday saw human-triggered avalanches in the Cariboo west of Jasper, and Monday on Rainbow Mountain, near Whistler, where a skier was completely buried but was rescued.
