SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE

Makes: about 1 cup (250 ml)

■ 1/2 cup (125 ml) apricot jam

■ 1/4 cup (60 ml) hoisin sauce

■ 1/4 cup (60 ml) rice vinegar

■ 1/8 tsp (0.5 ml) cayenne pepper

1. Combine all ingredient­s in a small saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat until mixture is heated through.
