Excel Homes has a brand new single-family entry in the Calgary marketplace.
The Westhill, a 2,503-sq.-ft. super-sized family home, is now available in the northwest community of Carrington.
The four-bedroom twoand-a-half bath Westhill comes with a very flexible floorplan.
Excel’s marketing and communication specialist, Stephanie Chapman, says new buyers can easily reconfigure the home to create up to five bedrooms above grade.
“The flex room on the main floor can become another bedroom and the existing half-bath can become a master ensuite. We can also convert the butler’s pantry into a spice kitchen or simply add an extra sink,” says Chapman.
Upstairs, the fourth bedroom could eas- ily convert to a master and the bonus flex room would become its private ensuite.
“This is perfect for an aging parent or older child — maybe an adult child — who needs privacy and their own bathroom,” says Chapman.
Should a homeowner build the Westhill with the bonus room upstairs, there’s an additional flex space tucked away for a home office or homework space.
The master’s retreat has a huge ensuite with an oversized walk-in closet, says Chapman.
“Everything connects, so you can walk from the master bedroom into the bathroom, into the closet and then into the laundry room, then out that door into the hallway,” she says.
Starting in the $570,000s, the Westhill is being built on 36-ft. lots in Carrington, located off Centre St. North and Stoney Trail.
