Hot on the heels of launching its August in University District project, Avi Urban has broken ground on Carrington Urban Terraces.

The 72-unit development in the northwest community of Carrington will have fee simple, two-storey townhomes in a 12-building complex.

“Our family of street towns in Carrington has really been able to fill a market niche in the north central area,” says Charron Ungar, CEO of Homes by Avi Group of Companies. “The Carrington Urban Terraces complement the townhouse offering typically f ound i n t he area. Between two-storey building designs, private backyards, parking and no condo fees, our Urban Terraces provide a true alternative to the ordinary. We like to refer to them as attached single-family houses, which is essentially what they are.”

Floor plans include twoand three-bedroom layouts, ranging in size from 1,150 sq. ft. to 1,392 sq. ft. and showcase an urban farmhouse architectural style. Rich, dark, exterior details are accented by board and batten siding, painted panels, and push and pull on the elevations.

“Now that construction has started, we should have our first homeowners moving in by late spring. It’s quite exciting to know we are getting closer to the finish line on our first phase of t hese homes,” says Ungar.

The Carrington Urban Terraces add to Homes by Avi’s product mix in the community, which includes street towns, semi-detached and single-family homes.

“To improve the customer experience, the entire collec- tion of products is being sold from the same sales centre, giving home buyers enough variety to suit every budget and lifestyle,” says Julia Kotelnikova, sales associate at Avi Urban. “Focused on connectivity, Carrington will host an array of amenities, services and experiences to foster a thriving environment, within close proximity to other amenity-rich communities.”

The sales centre and showhomes are open Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends and holidays from noon to 5 p.m., at 326 Carringvue Way N.W.
