Kiss founder Gene

Simmons has urged his former bandmates to leave the make-up at home if they want to rock with the group on an upcoming world tour.

the bass player reveals he has spoken to ace Frehley, Peter Criss, and Vinnie Vincent about making guest appearances, but he insists his old bandmates won’t hit the stage in full Kiss make-up.

“you’ve been out of the band 20 years. It’s not going to happen,” he told Imperiumi in a recent interview.

Gene has been hooking up with his former bandmates at some of his Vault solo events, and he admits it has been fun working with them again:

“Everybody was very sweet,” he said. “Vinnie Vincent was fine. I thought it was going to be a problem. No problem. ace loved it so much. He went to three different cities... Peter was fine. He came by for a short time, told the fans how much he loved them and then he went back. I think Peter is done. He does not want to be in the public eye. He’ll sign some autographs, but that’s it.”
