Woman says she slipped on dog poop and stabbed hubby

Calgary Sun - - LIFE -

Who conveniently slips on dog feces with a knife in hand to stab their significant other?

apparently, this was the case for a Florida woman who is accused of stabbing her husband to death this past June.

Lakeland resident rachel Fidanian says she was holding her dog while washing some dishes with a knife in her hand when she ran towards her husband, slipped on some poop, plunging the sharp utensil into her partner’s shoulder in the process on June 25.

but Polk county cops aren’t buying it, FOX 35 reported, because it’s one of several “inconsistent” statements she gave as to what led up to the fatal stabbing of bryant Fidanian.

“the suspect made a lot of excuses, but none of them made sense,” Polk county Sheriff Grady Judd told the Miami Herald in a statement. "Our detectives did a thorough investigation. In the end, they determined this was an intentional act of domestic violence.”

according to an arrest report, the 38-year-old woman claimed during a 911 call that she was holding her dog and doing dishes before she ran and allegedly stabbed bryant, 40. Later in that same call, cops say Fidanian claimed she was slicing pizza when she went to chat with her husband, tripped and stabbed him accidentally.

Fidanian’s husband was taken to hospital but later died.

Fidanian was arrested and charged with seconddegree murder.
