Rachel Poliquin

wrote “Working Like a Beaver.” She is the author of Beaver, part of Reaktion Books’ acclaimed Animal series, and The Breathless Zoo: Taxidermy and the Cultures of Longing. She has written for The New York Times, Science Friday, and The Believer. Her current project is a series for young readers about the surprising super-talents of belittled beasts. It is to be published in 2018.
