Rebuilding a Hurricane

I am a new subscriber to this wonderful magazine. I noted the short article about the Hawker Hurricane touching down in Calgary. (“Hawker Hurricane touches down,” February-March 2020). This is a great story. I do wish to point out that Vintage Wings of Canada in Gatineau, Quebec, is also in the process of restoring a Canadian-built Hawker Hurricane (K5447), and we hope to fly it later this year. The Vintage Wings Hurricane will be dedicated to a Canadian fighter pilot, Willie McKnight from Calgary, who fought during the Battle of France. Claude Brunette Gatineau, Quebec
