Ken McGoogan

is the author of “Solving the Franklin Mystery.” Among his five books about northern exploration, McGoogan counts three that focus extensively on the lost expedition of Sir John Franklin: Fatal Passage, Lady Franklin’s Revenge, and Dead Reckoning: The Untold Story of the Northwest Passage. The first of these books won five awards and inspired a featurelength docudrama called Passage. McGoogan’s latest book is Flight of the Highlanders: Canada’s First Refugees.
