Bullhorn raised, Jackie Henderson stands defiantly before a crowd in Toronto to demand equality for women everywhere. It was August 1970, and Henderson was continuing a fight that began decades earlier with the suffragettes, who demanded the vote, along with the women who worked in factories and fields during the world wars so that their daughters would someday have their voices heard by society.
