Michael Dupuis is the author of “Rising from the Ashes.” Dupuis is a retired history teacher, consultant, writer, and author whose books focus on the role played by Canadian journalists in covering major historical events.
Carolyn Harris is the author of “Queen of Canada.” Harris is an instructor in history at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in European history from Queen’s University.
Janice Forsyth and Alexandra Giancarlo are the authors of “We Were the Lucky Ones.” Forsyth is a member of the Fisher River Cree Nation and a professor in Indigenous land-based physical culture and wellness at the University of British Columbia’s School of Kinesiology. Giancarlo, a multidisciplinary settler scholar, is an assistant professor in socio-cultural studies of sport and physical activity at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Kinesiology.
Christopher Moore wrote “Royal Dissent.” Moore is a contributing editor with Canada’s History and a Governor General’s Award winning writer who has been presenting Canadian history to non-specialist audiences for many years.
André Pelchat wrote “At Cross Purposes.” Pelchat lives in L’Avenir, Quebec, and works as a lecturer on historical topics. The author of two books, he has been a contributor to Canada’s History for more than twenty years.
Janice Tibbetts wrote “Challenging Bill 21.” Tibbetts is a faculty member at Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication. She teaches a wide variety of courses, including a senior seminar on covering legal issues.
