The 27 Orucase Airport Ninja travel case ($ 500, orucase. com) offers you stealth when you are taking your bike abroad. With some disassembly required, a road frame as large as 61 cm can fit into one of the three available sizes of the Airport Ninja. It’s small enough that you can get through check-in without paying exorbitant fees. Note: Orucase makes no guarantees. Always read an airline’s fine print, which can be pretty stealthy, beforehand.

The 30 Specialized Burra Burra 3 frame pack ($ 130, specialized.com), with its six attachment points, secures nicely to your frame. Coated nylon panels held together with welded seams do a good job of keeping the elements out. The 40 cm x 5.5 cm x 10 cm bag has a large zipper compartment, as well as two smaller ones.
