This year, the El­gin Moun­tain Bike Marathon fea­tures a 40" bridge and 3-km of new sin­gle­track. Choose be­tween 120-, 80-, 40- and 20-km routes. The event is a fundraiser for the El­gin Eco As­so­ci­a­tion.


The Cross on the Rock se­ries has its fourth race of the sea­son. The Kona Kup in Bowen Park in Nanaimo, B.C., bills its course as as very Euro­pean with wide pave­ment run­ning to­ward a switch­back. There are stairs, too. “En­joy” your­selves, rid­ers.


The sec­ond edi­tion of the Tour of Guanxi takes World­tour rid­ers to roads north­west of Hong Kong. Last year, Tim Wel­lens was the race’s first over­all win­ner. In 2018, Guanxi is set to be Svein Tuft’s fi­nal World­tour event.


The fi­nal edi­tion in the wel­com­ing Stu­por­cross se­ries, the Can­non­dale Howl­ing Coy­ote pre­sented by Dukes, runs near Shel­burne, Ont. Or­ga­niz­ers en­cour­age cy­clists to ride or race what­ever bikes they have on the mixed-sur­face course.


The velo­drome in Mil­ton, Ont., hosts the planet’s best rid­ers on the boards as World Cup track cy­cling re­turns to Canada for a sec­ond year.
