For the fifth year in a row, the Sil­ver Goose CX flies in Mid­land, Ont. This year, the bird seems to be fly­ing a lit­tle higher as it’s also the Pan Amer­i­can cy­clocross cham­pi­onships through­out the week­end. On Satur­day, mas­ters com­pete for con­ti­nen­tal hon­ours and elite rid­ers vie for uci points in C2-level races. Sun­day fea­tures races for the elite rid­ers who want to be­come Pan Am champs. Or­ga­niz­ers of the event have a busy month: next week­end they’re putting on CX na­tion­als. (See ‘Look­ing Ahead.’)
